Day 13 -Pike Place Market, Seattle
2008 Summer Road trip to Northwest USA and Canada
Trip duration: 15 days (May 9th to 23rd)
Total distance: 9000km/5560milesDay 13, said goodbye to my friend Wayne and headed north to Seattle. I only have 3-4 hours to spend there before I have to go back to Vancouver and meet up with another friend of mine for dinner.
So I picked Pike Place Market in Seattle for a visit. It was fun hanging around there for a couple hours, there's tons to see, lots of little shops selling quirky items, artsy decorations and other useless but pretty things.
I like this a lot more than the Calgary Tower, this is so much cooler looking :P

I actually came up here after looking at some of the Seattle photos in Pike Place Market. I wanted a picture of Seattle of my own. Even though the weather wasn't exactly great, a picture is better than none!

Here it is!

Reminds me of one of the newer South Park episodes, these bands are everywhere!

An organized garage sale

The old fortune lady got so lazy she made a robot clone of herself to feed you bs instead.

I stood there and I come right up to his...
oh boy...

mmmm one day I'll buy one of those lobster tails
... and then a heart attack xD

Bought a huge rubber ducky from this shop :D

Everything seems a bit cheaper here than in Canada

Beautifully organized veggy stand

I thought, wow, how nice, fresh flowers in downtown...
If Li-Ann was there I'd buy her some :)

I thought these were pretty :)

See that pano print in the middle? There's my inspiration :P

I love those, what, spices? They look so colorful.

A school field trip turning an outside dance party :D

The famous throw a fish company.

Who'd eat that...
... I hope no one does that with my corpse...

Proudly over looking Seattle and cleaning up bits of left over food!

They say this is Seattle's best.... chowder
oh I almost threw up, maybe the bread bowl was sour dough or something, I just didn't like it at all!
I like crows
They're smart, playful and a bit evil

What a beautiful house over looking downtown Seattle...

I wanna live there!
And the Canadian/US border. I felt relieved, coming home after 2 weeks :)
