  • Corvette and snow doesn't play well together

If only you could drive the Corvette on snow for real. Seems such a shame to have a nice car like this in a place that snows 5 months of the year.

This is a picture of the car during mid-manoeuver, trying to park the it sides ways in the back of the garage. That way we can fit 3 cars in the garage instead of two.

The Corvette couldn't make it up the slightly snowy driveway, lots of pushing and deicing was required, hehe.

  • On the way to the top

One of the many hairpins on the awesomely twisty, narrow, rock lined road to the top of Haleakala in Maui. This one is about 8000ft above sea level, already above the clouds. There's not a lot of places that allows you to feel like you're flying while having your feet (or tires) firmly attached to the ground.

Well worth the money to go up there, it's always such a rush driving up. Tires squealing, ears popping. The air got so thin that my bottle of orange juice exploded when I got to the top, haha. Good thing it's a rental car, and good thing the bottole was in the footwells so I could clean it up.

  • Today, we fly!

Over the island of Molokai. Look at the pristine ocean. You can see the island sloping down under the sea. Absolutely breath taking.

Molokai is NW of Maui, so on a flight from Kahului to Honolulu, you'll get to fly over it and have a real good look at the beautiful landscapes below :) Remember to book a window seat, also remember the flight stays south of the island, so get a window seat on the N side of the plane for a good view!
